Kent Bulfinch

I never met Kent Bullfinch, but was shown some of his flies by Al Brunell.  The flies below were tied in 1997.  Kent used what appears to be a Tyvek material for the wing cases.  Some of the flies have a woven body and others use latex.  These are fun flies to look at.

Is this the same Kent Bulfinch that worked for Shell Oil Company in San Francisco? He was the very best boss I ever had. A wonderful human being.

He lived in Yreka California since 1976. He started the Siskiyou County Fly Fishers in 1985 and was the Buz Buszek recipient in 1990.
